Ruby Rose has a pretty large fan base. But did you know most of the actress’ biggest supporters are her “Orange Is the New Black” co-stars?

During an interview with People Magazine, cast and crew members from the hit Netflix series, which streamed its third season in June, gushed about Rose, a Litchfield newcomer who took on the seductive role of Stella Carlin in the third installment of the Jenji Kohan-created drama.

“It’s fun, we have such an amazing chemistry as a cast at this point, and it’s always great to have new people in the mix, to shake up the dynamic a little bit,” Taylor Schilling, who portrayed Stella’s Season 3 love interest, Piper, on the series, said. “She’s interesting, people like her so much because she’s so lovable and adorable and sweet. Plus, she had a cool accent."

It’s true. In addition to Rose’s charisma and charm, she also has a wickedly delightful Australian accent that brings both boys and girls to their knees.
“Everybody loves the bad girl, the one who you don't know exactly what's up," the show’s casting director, Jennifer Euston, told People magazine. “The one with a little edge, that’s always appealing to an audience.”

In fact, Rose was so appealing that once Euston saw her audition tape, she was hooked! “As soon as I saw her on the screen I was like, 'Got it!'” the Emmy award nominated casting director admitted.

And as it turns out, Euston wasn’t the only one completely smitten with the actress. Rose’s castmate Selenis Levya, who plays Gloria Mendoza on “OITNB,” dished that she was determined to snag screen time with the beauty from down under.

“I haven't had a chance to do any scenes with her and I requested that in my contract, due to her beauty and the ridiculousness of that girl's looks," she quipped. "She's sexy and beautiful, yes, but what I love about her really honestly, is that she's so cool about it. She doesn’t know how gorgeous she is, which makes her even more ridiculous."

Although the modest actress might not be aware of how stunning she is, she did know one thing for sure: she wanted to star on the critically acclaimed prison drama.

"I was like, 'Yeah, that would be the most amazing show in the world to be on.' But as far as my career in the States, up until that point it had been quite dismal,” Rose told the Hollywood Reporter in June. "I was like, yeah, that would be really lovely that my first job would be on ‘Orange Is the New Black,' but it's very unlikely."

The 19-year-old Karadashian half-sister is dating former Jonas Brother Nick Jonas, according to Us Weekly.

"He absolutely thinks she's hot," a source told the mag.
Us reports that the duo was fixed up by mutual acquaintance Gigi Hadid, the supermodel who is currently dating Jonas' older brother, Joe Jonas.

Hadid allegedly had her own motives for the fix-up

"Gigi wants Kendall around all the time," a source told Us. "She thinks it would be fun for all of them to hang out."

Jenner and the "Chains" singer have been chatting over text lately, and another source told Us that "they had a flirty chemistry from the start."

The “Jealous” singer’s new flame likely will make ex-girlfriend Olivia Culpo green with envy. Jonas, 22, broke up with the 2012 Miss Universe winner in June after nearly two years together.

It's surprising that Jonas is already being linked to another woman, as he told E! News in June that he was in no rush to resume dating again soon.

"I don't know, it's too early," said Jonas, who is currently on tour. "I'm focused on my work and that, to me, is the priority right now."

That all changed, apparently, when he was reportedly set up with the "Keeping Up with The Kardashians" star.

"There was an obvious attraction," a source told Us.

Kim Richards was mum Tuesday about her alleged sticky fingers at a Target store – but her ex-husband reportedly isn’t buying the claim she shoplifted.

“Now is not a good time. I’m looking at a house,” the troubled – and reportedly homeless – reality star said when reached by the Daily News on her phone.

The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” personality, 50, was placed under citizen’s arrest by a Target security officer Sunday at 4:25 p.m. at a store in Van Nuys, a spokesman with the Los Angeles Police Department said.

She was booked on suspicion of taking several items worth more than $600 that she “failed to pay for,” the spokesman told The News.

"I couldn't imagine Kim stealing or shoplifting anything. She is a giver," Richards' ex-husband Monty Brinson told Entertainment Tonight.

"I am in complete shock. Guaranteed this must be some kind of mistake, and the facts will come out soon. She was arrested for shoplifting toys in a cart, but this was a clear misunderstanding. This was not alcohol or drug related,” he said.


Richards was booked into jail Sunday night and released Monday after posting $5,000 bail.
The case will be submitted to the Los Angeles City Attorney for possible misdemeanor prosecution.

Her first court date in the case was tentatively set for Aug. 20.
According to TMZ, Richards was living out of her car at the time of the arrest after running out of places to crash with family and friends.

In April, she was arrested at the Beverly Hills Hotel after cops said she was acting belligerently and kicked an officer in a  drunken rage.


The bust was the Bravo star's second in recent months.

She was later charged with public intoxication, resisting arrest and battery and has pleaded not guilty to the three misdemeanors Richards, who has struggled with sobriety for years, entered a rehab facility shortly after that incident.

She sat down with ET in July to address the hotel meltdown and vow she was back on track.

"I love sobriety," Richards said. "I've always loved sobriety and relapsing was very hard for me. It was not easy. I have to say, don't take this wrong, but I really wanted to go treatment because I needed a break from what I was going through at home."

She said Brinson was very sick, she recently had to give up her beloved pit bull after it allegedly bit people and she wasn’t talking to sister Kyle Richards, another Bravo star.
“I went in and I got to learn a whole lot about myself,” she told ET. “I worked on me.”

Country superstar Reba McEntire and her husband and manager Narvel Blackstock announced they are separating after 26 years of marriage.

The two said in a joint statement Monday that they had been separated for the past several months.

"Despite this being the end of their marriage, they continue to support each other," the duo said in a statement from Big Machine Label Group. "They have worked together for 35 years and will continue to do so. They have asked that you respect their privacy during this time."

A representative for Big Machine declined to say whether they had filed for divorce.
The Grammy-winning multiplatinum artist's career has spanned across music, television, film and theater and she remains one of country music's most popular artists with No. 1 records in each of the last four decades.

The Oklahoma native was the star of the popular "Reba," television show for six seasons and has appeared in 11 films.

Her latest album, "Love Somebody," was released in April and debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Blackstock runs a management company that represents McEntire, Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson.

The couple has one son together, race car driver Shelby Blackstock; Blackstock has three other children from a previous marriage.

The 36-year-old actress took part in a "ride-along", as research for her role of Ani in the TV series, and has revealed she learnt that  "everybody is lying".

Rachel McAdams shadowed police for her role in 'True Detective'.

Rachel said: "I did a ride-along with police and I learned that everybody is lying to everybody else. I get it now when police officers are cynical, because criminals are always trying to pull one over on them."

 

Rachel insisted she loved working on 'True Detective', because of her character, as well as her co-star Colin Farrell, who she said is a  "delight".

Speaking to Stylist magazine, she said: "I felt connected to Ani on a gut level. I understood her as soon as I read her.

"Working with Colin was a delight. He would come to my trailer for a chat and a cup of tea every day. We got really into chocolate coconut chips."

Another famous actor who Rachel is excited about working with is 34-year-old Jake Gyllenhaal, in her upcoming film 'Southpaw', in which

she stars as Maureen, the wife of a boxer who's rebuilding his life.

 

She said: "Jake and I have been trying to work together for years and this came up and he was so passionate about it and Maureen is a totally different character to anything I've done before ".

"I'm actually a bit older than Jake. It still happens a lot. I think it's fulfilling some sort of male fantasy, but we're slowly getting past that."

The actress also revealed to USA Today that she had "practiced" her boxing skills on the set of 'Southpaw' to star as the wife of boxer Billy "The Great" Hope, in the movie..

She shared to USA Today: "I figured Maureen would understand boxing really well. She’d make it her business to know it. Jake [Gyllenhaal] came and watched me box in the ring.

"I practiced. I wasn’t fighting. I definitely wasn’t fighting. I just tried to pick it up. Nowhere near the extent that Jake did. It was an excuse to sweat and get in shape. It’s a total head to toe workout. You do one three-minute round and you’re toast."

And her co-star Jake, 34, has admitted he was terrified about looking like an "idiot" in the movie but says the fear motivated him.

He said: "I spent five months training for the movie and I trained twice a day. I figured I'd make five months into 10 months if I did that.

"And I was just basically scared that I'd look like an idiot, so I worked as hard as I could. Fear is sometimes a good motivating thing."
