Johnny Depp wasn't shocked when his teenage daughter, Lily Rose, came out as sexually fluid this August.

"She’s got thousands of followers on social media, and they were all taken completely by surprise," Depp recently told the Daily Mail. "But not me. I already knew because she tells me everything -- she’s not afraid to say anything to me. 

We’re super-tight and I’m very proud of our relationship. Lily’s really together -- she’s a sharp kid and one of the smartest human beings I have ever met."

"She’s far surpassed myself there -- and my friends, too!" he said. "And, whatever she is doing, if she needs any advice, I’m there for her. Kids are going to make their own decisions, but I guess that the only thing you can do as a parent is to offer support. And I do."

Back in August, the 16-year-old model posed for Self-Evident Project, which features individuals who identify as “anything other than 100% straight."

Her friend, iO Tillet Wright, shared the photo on Instagram, writing: "I'm so proud of my baby girl @lilyrose_depp. 

She decided she wanted to be in @selfevidentproject because she falls somewhere on the vast spectrum, and I couldn't be happier to welcome her to the family. She's a tiny gem of a good human. #prouduncle#weareyou."

A Fairly Organic Process : Amber Heard & Johnny Depp

"Nothing is a dramatic change," Heard, 29, says of her marriage to the 52-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean star in the July issue of ELLE, on stands June 23. "We've been together for a long time now, so it's been a fairly organic process."

In Magic Mike XXL, Amber Heard keeps Channing Tatum on his toes, but in real life, the star describes married life with Johnny Depp as just a natural progression.

The couple, who got engaged over the holidays in 2012, legally tied the knot in February at their home in Los Angeles, followed by a tropical celebration with close friends and family on Depp's private island in the Bahamas.

An actress on the rise, Heard says she's had to battle Hollywood stereotypes. "I feel like I'm constantly fighting against my exterior, or this exterior presentation of myself because of how I look or perhaps because of who I'm with."

Fortunately, the Magic Mike XXL star says, "I have a fiercely independent spirit." So she continues to sift for good material, which can be demoralizing.

"I get a stack of scripts, like, once a month, and most of the time, you find these placeholder girls that are there to provide a bounce for the male character," Heard explains.

"I mean we’re trying to imitate life, and it seems to me a deeply saddening injustice that we are so uncreative and uninterested in developing representations of female life."

 Johnny Depp, the star of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" film series, married his fiancee, Amber Heard, at their home in Los Angeles earlier this week, according to People magazine.

The 51-year-old actor, who met Heard, 28, when they appeared together in the 2011 film "The Rum Diary," tied the knot on Tuesday in a small ceremony.

People magazine said a bigger wedding is planned for this weekend on Depp's private island, Little Hall's Pond Cay, in the Bahamas.

The couple, who have been engaged since late 2012, began dating after Depp split from his longtime partner, French actress Vanessa Paradis. Depp and Paradis are the parents of two children, a boy and a girl.

Depp gained fame in the late 1980s after appearing in the popular TV series "21 Jump Street" and later starred in "Edward Scissorhands" and "Alice in Wonderland."
