Nicole Kidman reveals awful 'first date' with Jimmy Fallon - 'I went, maybe he's gay?'

Australian actress Nicole Kidman left US talk show host Jimmy Fallon blushing and fumbling during an interview when she revealed the pair had gone on a disastrous "first date".
Kidman recalled the date during an appearance on Fallon's Tonight Show to promote the film Paddington, though the pair had somewhat different recollections of how their cringe-inducing encounter went.
Kidman noted that prior to the interview, the pair had not actually seen one another since the disastrous date.

Kidman, however, recalled that their mutual friend Rick told her Jimmy was keen to meet her. She was single at the time, she says, and thought, "Oh yeah, cool."
"I just remembered, I liked you," she told a visibly shocked Fallon. "Not now, I'm married now," she added, quickly.
"Did I date Nicole Kidman?" Fallon shouted in shock.
Kidman continued: "I went there and you were in a baseball cap. And you wouldn't talk. You wouldn't say anything. You were like, hey. And I was like, okay, hmm. And then you put a video game on or something and I was like, this is so bad."
At that point in their conversation, Fallon collapsed behind his desk, leaving Kidman to turn to the audience and say: "It was bad."
Kidman said he wore sweat pants and a baseball cap and served brie cheese, corn chips and "old Chinese food" he retrieved from his refrigerator.
Kidman continued: "I swear, and you didn't talk at all. After about an hour and a half I thought, he has no interest. This is so embarrassing. Then I left and went, okay, no chemistry. And then I went, maybe he's gay."
By this time, Fallon was red-faced.
"Anyway, we weren't meant to be, right?" Kidman said.
"I can't believe I dated Nicole Kidman, this is fantastic," Fallon said.
"You didn't," she shot back, laughing.
The pair then awkwardly continued talking about Kidman's husband Keith Urban until Kidman laughed at the tension, noting: "We can't even have a conversation."
Kidman admitted she and Urban often watched Fallon's Tonight Show at home and she would think to herself, "Will I ever go on that show and bring that story up? Maybe not. And now I did."
