Henry Gallagher | Britain's Got Talent 2015 | Audition Week 2
|
Henry Gallagher, the 12-year-old who wowed judges on Britain’s Got Talent, has admitted that he is worried about telling the girl who inspired his self-penned track that the song is about her.
The schoolboy was one of the biggest hits of Saturday night’s talent show when he sang his own tune Lightning, about a girl who he has a crush on.
She has no idea that the song was written about her.
Interviewed alongside his mother Marie, Henry told ITV show Lorraine: “She doesn’t know at all. I don’t think she will know at all.”
Asked if he was going to tell her, he said: “I don’t know because when I get back to school everyone will be watching me to see if I go to anyone.”
The schoolboy said that he would love to duet with Olly Murs, and added: “I just want to be a pop star and sell records and play in massive arenas because that’s all I have ever wanted to do.”
Henry’s sister Ellen was on Britain’s Got Talent three years ago performing in a girl band.
Asked how he writes his songs, he said: “I sit in the kitchen with a keyboard. My mum plays along because she’s a music teacher with the keyboard, to get it in tune.”
