WWE NXT talent Zahra Schreiber — the girlfriend of current
WWE world heavyweight champion Seth Rollins — was fired by the company
after it was discovered she had posted pro-Nazi artwork on social media.
Back in 2012, Schreiber posted
artwork and photos on her Instagram account that included swastikas. One
of the pictures posted was a cartoon of a "My Little Pony" character
dressed as Adolf Hitler.
ven though she had previously deleted the pictures, someone "dug them up over the weekend" according to a TMZ report, which posted some of the images circulating on social media.
WWE issued a statement:
WWE has released Zahra Schreiber due to inappropriate and offensive
remarks she made that were recently brought to our attention.
Schreiber had yet to appear on NXT television but debuted
Saturday at a show in Fort Pierce, Fla., as the valet for Solomon
Crowe. She was in the news earlier this year when a topless picture of
her appeared on Rollins' Instagram and Twitter accounts.
Soon after that, a nude picture of Rollins also
appeared on his social media accounts. It turned out that Rollins'
then-fiancee, Leighla Schultz, was posting the pictures in retaliation
for his relationship with Schreiber.
This is the second Nazi-related
controversy involving TV talent over the past week. Schreiber's firing
comes just a week after Curt Schilling was suspended indefinitely by ESPN for a tweet where he compared Muslim extremists to German Nazis.
