| Chloe Lukasiak : 2015 Teen Choice Awards |
The Teen Choice Awards gave out their first ever surfboard for Choice Dancer Sunday night. The nominees were Stephen “tWitch” Boss, Allison Holker, Derek Hough, Les Twins, Chloe Lukasiak and Maddie Ziegler, but only one could walk away with the surfboard.
Ultimately Chloe Lukasiak beat out fellow “Dance Moms” star Maddie Ziegler to scoop up the award! Singer Jason Derulo and “So You Think You Can Dance” host Cat Deeley were the ones to announce the news.
“Hi. Oh, my gosh, this is such an honor,” Chloe said when she took the stage. “Even though I don’t know how to surf I think I know someone who can teach me.”
The teen reality star went on to thank her dance teachers, Fox, the Teen Choice Awards and her fans for the honor. “You guys mean the world to me,” she exclaimed, adding words of encouragement for anyone who was ever told they weren’t good enough to do something.
“Ignore it,” she continued. “Do it anyways and prove them wrong.”
